The Scientific Conference of the 31st Quadrennial Session of the CIE will take place from 12–14 July 2027 at the Nanjing International Youth Conference Centre in China.
Located in Hexi New Town, Jianye District, on the banks of the Yangtze River, the centre is a landmark venue designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid. Its distinctive flowing architecture draws inspiration from Nanjing’s traditional Yunjin brocade, blending contemporary design with elements of local cultural heritage.
The venue offers extensive and flexible conference facilities. In addition to a large banquet hall and spacious shared lobby, a range of smaller and medium-sized meeting rooms will be available for parallel sessions and side meetings. All spaces are equipped with professional audiovisual systems, high-speed internet, intelligent lighting, and air conditioning, ensuring a high-quality experience for participants and speakers alike.
