We are pleased to announce that the Call for Contributions for the Scientific Conference of the 31st Quadrennial Session of the CIE will be published on 20 August 2026, when the submission system for Short Papers will open. This marks the beginning of the scientific submission and review process leading up to the conference.

- 20 August 2026 – Call for Contributions published; submission system opens
- 10 November 2026 – Submission deadline for Short Papers; start of peer review
- 14 January 2027 – Early registration opens
- 3 March 2027 – Review results announced
- 4 March 2027 – Submission of Full-length Papers (and revised Short Papers) opens
- 3 May 2027 – Submission deadline for revised papers (including Full-length Papers); early bird registration ends
- 16 June 2027 – Deadline for open access fee payment
