Biography

Dr. Xin ZHANG is a Professor at the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, where he has held academic positions since 2005. His research focuses on luminous environments, including daylighting and artificial lighting, with particular expertise in human factors, lighting design methodology, non-visual effects of daylighting, and the luminous environment of Chinese traditional architecture. He has contributed to more than 100 publications and over 26 research projects, with research outputs applied in both industry and practical architectural projects.
