Sponsorship add-on Supporting young researchers and professionals

For enterprises and seasoned professionals in the lighting field, CIE’s high recognition is largely due to its crucial role in building industry communities and fostering exchanges among newcomers. To assist young people aspiring to develop in the field of light and lighting, CIE continuously launches multiple support initiatives, one of which is to minimize barriers for master’s and doctoral students to attend its conferences.

The student registration fee for CIE 2027 has been further reduced, lower than the standards for CIE 2023 and 2025, effectively easing the financial burden for young students. Additionally, networking events will be held during the Session, providing valuable face-to-face exchange opportunities for young scholars with renowned researchers, developers, engineers, and designers.

CIE consistently focuses on fundamental research in the field of light and lighting, promoting its application in practical scenarios through systematic integration of knowledge achievements. To this end, CIE has published the CIE Research Strategy, established research forums, and provides support for promising research projects.

Simultaneously, CIE is committed to promoting and recognizing inspiring, high-quality research. At each CIE Session, the Best Paper, Best Student Paper, and Best Poster are formally recognized based on the selection of the International Scientific Programme Committee. The winners receive free registration for the next CIE Session or three CIE publications of their choice.

Sponsorship add-on Global access to the CIE

Diversity and inclusion, as well as enabling participation from more countries and regions, are important aspects of CIE’s strategic vision. For participants from low-income countries and regions, the high cost of international conferences is often a significant barrier.

Therefore, CIE has specially established reduced registration fees to lower the participation threshold, encourage broader international participation, and promote diversity among representatives from around the world.

By selecting this add-on, your organization will be mentioned as a supporting organization for the CIE’s aim to further increase diversity and enable a truly global community in the CIE. This includes mention in the conference program/booklet, on the CIE 2027 Nanjing event website, and on-site displays as feasible, as well as a link to the company’s page on the event website.

The CIE 2027 Scientific Conference and Exhibition will be held at the Nanjing International Youth Cultural Center. The exhibition area is strategically planned in a core location adjacent to the conference coffee break areas, ensuring high foot traffic and quality interaction. The center features modern facilities, convenient transportation, and spacious, well-lit areas, providing an ideal exhibition environment.

Exhibition Package Benefits:

  1. Exhibitors are mentioned in all program-related communication such as on the website and printed program booklet.
  2. Exhibitor access is included. The number of tickets depends on the selected package (see benefit table) and covers registration for the Welcome Reception, Scientific Conference, and Gala Dinner.
  3. Additional exhibitor delegates receive a discounted price and are charged the rate normally exclusive to CIE Members.
  4. Basic configuration: Standard booth includes power access, booth panels, chairs, and a table (panel format, quantity of furniture subject to booth area and selected package). Panels are produced uniformly by the organizer; exhibitors must provide design materials in the specified format. Additional equipment and services (e.g., modular booth construction, special equipment) can be rented separately for an extra fee.
  5. Optional add-on to be listed as an “exhibitor sponsor”: Your company logo is included in conference communications listing all sponsors, category “other sponsors and exhibitors”. See prices in table below (last column).
  6. Dedicated contact person for exhibitors before and during conference.
  7. Complimentary Wi-Fi. 8. Basic daily cleaning.
