The CIE 2027 Scientific Conference (CIE 2027) invites the submission of original scientific contributions for an oral or poster presentation in line with the related topics described in Call for Contributions. Short Papers act as a concise summary of the research presenting (preliminary) findings, novel approaches or concepts supported by sufficient evidence, or ongoing work with available results, while Full-Length Papers will provide a more detailed exposition of the study. Submissions must be original and not published elsewhere in full form before the conference.

Please consult the author guidelines provided below. The submission process for CIE 2027 will be exclusively handled via ConfTool, and only submissions received through this system will be considered.

Conformity with CIE 2027 Author Guidelines:

The final version of the submission will be published in the Proceedings of the CIE (International Commission on Illumination), which have been registered as an international series with the ISSN no. 3061-015X (print), 3061-0168 (online). Since CIE 2025, all scientific volumes of the Proceedings of the CIE (International Commission on Illumination) have been submitted to Scopus for indexing.

By submitting a contribution, authors confirm compliance with the ethical and research integrity principles set out in the Proceedings of the CIE (International Commission on Illumination) (ISSN no. 3061-015X (print), 3061-0168 (online)), CIE Code of Ethics, Singapore Statement on Research Integrity and ÖAWI Guidelines for Good Scientific Practice and the Author Agreements as described in the CIE 2027 Authors Guidelines and the Overview of Author Agreements.
